Join Intermezzo for the 2025-26 season!
Intermezzo is our middle string ensemble, for students who are maturing readers and of late beginner to intermediate playing level. Concurrent enrollment in private music lessons is suggested but not required for Intermezzo students. Click below to see sample excerpts students should be able to play prior to joining Intermezzo!
Tuition is $170 ($160 cash/check discount if paid in full at the first rehearsal) for the semester. Rehearsals run from 5:30-6:30 pm on Tuesday nights at La Salle-Peru High School in La Salle, IL during the school year. For the 2025-26 school year, the first rehearsal is September 2nd.
Applications for the semester are accepted through the first week of October for fall semester and through the last week of February for spring semester. Intermezzo students perform in two semesterly concerts (December and May).
