Join Intermezzo for the 2025-26 season!
Intermezzo is our middle string ensemble, for students who are maturing readers and of late beginner to intermediate playing level. Concurrent enrollment in private music lessons is suggested but not required for Intermezzo students. A hearing is required for mid-semester applicants to determine readiness/ensemble placement.
Tuition is $170 ($160 cash/check discount if paid in full at the first rehearsal) for the semester. Rehearsals run from 5:30-6:30 pm on Tuesday nights at La Salle-Peru High School in La Salle, IL during the school year.
Applications for the semester are accepted through the first week of October for fall semester and through the last week of February for spring semester. Intermezzo students perform in two semesterly concerts (December and May).
