Seating hearings for the Fall 2025 term will be held on August 26th at La Salle Peru High School in the band room. To apply for a seating hearing, click here (2+ years of playing, strong sightreading skills, enrolled in private lessons). Intermezzo students do not require a seating hearing in most cases—apply here for Intermezzo (1+ year of playing, able to read simple music, private lessons not required) and stay tuned for an email from us if we want to hear you play before the season starts! First rehearsal for Sinfonia and Intermezzo students will be September 2nd.
If your student is brand new to music or to stringed instruments, with less than a year of playing or just beginning note-reading, click here to learn more about Prelude, our program for beginning students. There is no seating hearing. Prelude begins in October and maintains through the remainder of the school year.
